Off-grid Cabins

"Be offline during your holiday in one of our off-grid cabins"

Have you always wanted to be on a holiday with little connection to the outside world? Surrounded by nature to improve your spirit? Then we highly recommend to book one of our cabins in the woods. We offer two off-grid cabins, surrounded by the Swedish forest, where you can be offline. The cabins are situated near the nature reserve Glaskogen. Scroll down to read more about our cabins in the woods.

Ivan’s Junkyard – car cemetery
Visit Ivan’s Junkyard and be amazed. Amazed by the number of cars, amazed by the size of it and amazed by how nature is taking over. Since 2023 is there a foundation that protects the area carefully as more and more tourists explore this urban car cemetery. Even if you are not a big fan of cars, it is well worth to pay a visit.

Sjöänds skans
Without expecting any threats, the Germans surprisingly came closer to the Swedish-Norwegian boarder. This action caused a big wake-up call within the Swedish army and many different fortresses were built within a few days. Sjöänds skans is only one of the many and lies at the border of Glaskogen.

Glaskogen Nature Reserve
The biggest reason why we moved to Årjäng. A big nature reserve that offers endless hikes, waters and sleeping activities. With more than 29.000 hectares it is the largest nature reserve of Värmland. Only 600 of them are protected areas, other hectares will be used for forestry by private owners.
