Breeding animals
“Upgrade your life with one of our farm animals!”
Our farm animals are raised with a strong focus on sustainability, natural breeding, and respect for their instincts. We work with pigs, rabbits, and chickens in systems that allow them to express their natural behaviors, from rooting and grazing to nesting and foraging. By choosing hardy breeds and maintaining small-scale, thoughtful breeding practices, we support animal health, reduce the need for interventions, and create a more resilient farm ecosystem.
We place great importance on meeting the ecological requirements of each species when it comes to housing and care. Our pigs live outdoors with space to move and root, our rabbits are kept in calm, well-ventilated environments, and our chickens are housed in mobile coops (7 months a year) that give them constant access to fresh pasture. These approaches not only improve animal welfare but also contribute to soil health, biodiversity, and a balanced, regenerative way of farming.
“Which breed would fit your lifestyle?”
Rabbits
We raise red New Zealand/Götaland meat rabbits, a hardy and fast-growing breed known for its calm temperament, good mothering ability, and high-quality meat. These rabbits are well suited to small-scale, sustainable farming, producing up to six nests per year under attentive care. We have two mums who will have a nest in January, April and July. Their diet consists of a balanced mix of pellets and hay, supporting steady growth and overall health while ensuring consistent quality in both breeding and meat production.
Our rabbits live year round outdoor, sheltered from snow during the winter. No additional heating is being used.
If you are interested in having rabbits yourself, please send us a mail to [email protected].Â
Our Silverudd’s Blå hens are a traditional Swedish breed, valued for their resilience and ability to thrive in colder climates. These hardy, lively birds produce distinctive blue to green eggs and are well suited to free-range conditions. We focus on careful, selective breeding to ensure strong and healthy stock, and offer both fertilised eggs and day-old chicks for those who want to raise this beautiful and dependable breed themselves.
Please send an email to [email protected] to order your baby chicks or fertilised eggs. NOTE: We do not send the eggs as the quality of the eggs go badly when in transit.
We also sell chicken food. Food for the first days, the first weeks and for adult chickens. The food is from Lantmännen.
Our farm cat Piauw, born in 2023, is a gentle and well-loved part of the farm. She has one litter of kittens each year, with a mix of long- and short-haired kittens in beautiful black and white patterns. Piauw has a soft, cuddly nature while still being independent, making her both affectionate and self-reliant. The kittens inherit a blend of her calm temperament and their father’s traits, who is an outdoor cat, resulting in well-balanced, adaptable cats suited for both farm life and caring homes.
Kittens to be expected: early June 2026
If you would like to have an option on one of the kittens, please send an email to [email protected].Â
