Sylvotherapist practitioner - Gardener

“In need of a pause from daily life? Sign up for the “Let nature guide you” day”

Nature has always had a place in my heart. A place to feel calmness, freshness and joy. A place to wander around and let time be. It is just recently that I found out about Sylvotherapy and its positive outcome on my body and soul. I’ve conducted a study in Sylvotherapy in 2025/2026 given by Alma Oasis and can call myself a certified Sylvotherapist practitioner. The course was mainly online, but the exercises had to be within the forest, and throughout the course I felt more and more alive. More aware of what I truly desire, more grounded than ever and more feelings arose instead of thoughts.

With this knowledge in my pocket, I decided that Herbalism is also something I want to learn and know more about. At the same online school I follow now (2026) a herbalist course to familiarise myself with the edible plants in Northern Europe.

Both courses fit into my desire; to be more connected with nature, my ancestors and nordic traditions.

Would you like to experience this true connection with nature?

I would like to ask you to take a moment and feel. Feel if you would like to be part of an experience that will open up your heart, your desires. A moment that longs for a different approach from what you have tried before.

Strongly feeling a YES I WANT THAT, I would say, sign up for the course ‘Let nature guide you‘.

Doubtedly feeling a YES, or a small YES, I would say, sign up for the course ‘Let nature guide you‘.

If you feel that this is not the right time for you, take only a look at the given dates and perhaps you will feel more connected with me and my course on a later moment.

Other hobbies that I fulfil

Besides maintaining a forestry lifestyle, I am also creative in woodcrafting, sculpting and gardening. I love to be a host to both tourists and small spiritual events, and are always open for new experiences.

Gardening in Sweden is something different than gardening in the Netherlands. There is a different nature and climate where we live, called zone 5. We have late summers and early autumn temperatures, with frost possibilities in mid august. Yet I enjoy gardening to the fullest when given the time for it. I love how we combine permaculture principles in our garden and see how it thrives. We combine flowers with veggies, both edible variations. The harvest is enough for us as a family and sometimes a bit more to sell.

In the garden we grow edible flowers. Did you know that many flowers are edible? You just need to know how to use them. For example, make a tea with chamomile flowers, plantain or bergamot. Use the leaves of mint in your tea or sallad, dry strawberry leaves to have summer feeling in the cold winter months in your tea. Pick some small flowers from the radishes to decorate your sallad or let the sunflowers dry to harvest the seeds. These are just a few ideas of the endless possibilities you have!

During the colder months I keep myself busy with woodcrafting and sculpting. Nothing trully fancy or big, just a handmade butterknife from a brich tree or a planting pot made from natural clay.

Every day I feel proud to walk on my land. Proud and happy, a willingness to share with others! We finally got the permission to start an ecological glamping with only three tents on our property. We are thrilled to start this new enterprise from the year 2027. The tents can be rented by both tourists as well as organised events. If you would like to know a bit more about this, feel free to contact us through our contact page.
