At our farm Södra Gård lies this beauty waiting to be booked for your holiday. A perfect spot to enjoy the Swedish nature from the terrace furniture at the stuga. We have many perdator birds hoovering our farm, deer that pass our land or the foxes that can’t wait to get a snack. It is also very well possible to pick your own berries from the forest as the house is surrounded for 200 degrees with pine trees, blueberry bushes and edible mushrooms. In your private garden we grow strawberries to!
In addition to our own nature, you can also fully enjoy the Glaskogen nature park. The border of the park is just 10 minutes away, where you can immediately start your first walks. Read more on their website. Would you rather return to civilization; the center of Årjäng is around the corner (5 min) or Arvika (45 min). In short, the house is centrally located for every occasion!
The house is decorated for 2 persons total.The sleeping area has a double bed of 140x200cm. A well maintained kitchen with running water, fridge and oven is offered, as well as a functionable bathroom. The stuga is surrounded by two other buildings and lies 100m from the mainhouse.
A fun farm stay for you and the kids!
The stuga is situated on our permaculture farm where we offer a small variety of activities with animals and our garden. We came up with this idea through our own young kids. We see them everyday enjoying the animals from feeding to cuddling or picking fruit from the garden. This simplicity of life should not be forgotten, but embraced and shared with others. In the cabin you find baskets and materials to start harvesting in our garden (during the season) and collecting eggs from our Bovan Brun chickens.
Furthermore we also offer different play ground areas like a trampoline, sandbox, slide. These are free to use as well. They are close to our mainhouse, but to us this is no problem. We even know for sure that the kids would enjoy this to! Note that all equipment should be used accordingly and is entered at your own risk.

Additional information
During the months September until April we apply 40sek/night for electricity as the prices are of electricity is extremely high during these months.
A cleaning fee is a mandatory cost as we clean the house after every visit. The fee is 250sek/stay.
Bookable:
- Baby set 175 SEK. A camping bed, bath, chair and cleaning matress.
- Bedsheets 150 SEK.
- Towels 100 SEK
Dogs (max 2) are allowed, provided they do not get on the seating furniture or the bed. Dogs must also be on a leash at all times due to our free roaming animals (chickens/cats) and Swedish law. There is no additional fee to bringing dogs during your stay.
